The Sacramento Valley Garden Railway Society (SVGRS) was formed in 1989 to promote the building, operating and fun of large-scale model railroading through regular meetings, a newsletter (the Flyer) and special projects that puts the fun back in the "fun-damentals" of garden railroading.
In 2000, we added this website to spread the "fun" a little wider. It contains information to help you learn about our club and garden railroading. If you'd like to attend a meeting or an open house, just drop an email to the webmaster at the link at the bottom of the page. You'll also find out about becoming a member if you choose. We can always use new members! The club learns as much from new members as they do from us. So, All Aboard!
Two ongoing projects are the Modular Group, Live Steam Group.
